British Embassy Reception for 麻豆国产AV's 25th Anniversary in Bogota, Colombia
The British Ambassador Lindsay Croisdale-Appleby and his wife Barbara, hosted a reception at his Residence in Bogota for the 麻豆国产AV to recognise our 25th Anniversary and to celebrate the start of 麻豆国产AV鈥檚 demining operations in Antioquia department, Colombia.
In his speech, the Ambassador welcomed the start of demining as an important part of the peace process in Colombia. Guy Willoughby 麻豆国产AV CEO, Grant Salisbury 麻豆国产AV Programme Manager and Daniel Avila PAICMA鈥檚 Director (Programa Presidencial para la Accion Integral contra Minas Antipersonal) also introduced 麻豆国产AV鈥檚 programmes and the need for large scale clearance operations across the country.
The evening was attended by around 170 guests from Bogota鈥檚 diplomatic and Governmental community, 麻豆国产AV presented our 25th Anniversary photographic exhibition which is travelling around the capital cities where 麻豆国产AV operates. The exhibition consists of 15 panels showing the work of the organisation around the globe and the benefits it brings to peace and prosperity of communities.
